This is an extraordinary combination of useful foods which give a zingy hot finish to any dish. Add this supertonic at the end of cooking to preserve the raw components of the superfoods. We all know how helpful garlic, horseradish and ginger are in the diet!

What goes

  • 5 bulbs Garlic (fresh crushed)
  • 1 root Ginger (grated)
  • 2 tablespns Cayenne
  • 1 Horseradish (fresh grated)
  • 1.5 litres apple cider vinegar

How it goes

Place crushed garlic, grated horseradish and ginger, and cayenne in a large kilner jar. The grating of the horseradish is an exercise of sinus clearing in itself!

Cover with apple cider vinegar. Make sure all ingredients are covered completely, top up with additional apple cider vinegar if necessary. Shake a few times each day. Leave for four days.

On day five strain all the ingredients, through a wire strainer with a muslin.

Bottle. Use the pulp in a soup.
